Consider the following acts:
- borrowing from a school or public library
- renting from/to others
- buying/selling to others
- borrowing from/loaning to a friend
- recording or otherwise copying without permission
- sharing to/from a file sharing service without permission (e.g.,
posting on YouTube)
- linking on your own FaceBook page, Blog, or Twitter
- stealing

1. Think/comment below about how you think each of these acts might
impact (positively or negatively) the author, publisher, or other
rights holders to any original creative output such as:

* an original written work (poem, short story, novel) in book
form, in a magazine, or on the web
* an audio or video recording of a live performance of a play,
dance, opera, music, lecture, comedy sketch, etc
* the lyrics and/or music of a song, opera, or other musical work
* a movie, photograph, painting, sculpture, music video or other
visual artistic product
* a television or radio broadcast, a pod cast, blog, or other
original web material
* any other original artistic product

2. Think/comment below about how you think each of these acts might
impact (positively or negatively) the reader, viewer, listener,
student, or teacher of any such original creative output.

3. Think/comment below about examples of each of any such acts you
encounter on the CyberFiction site. How do you feel about your
possible participation in these acts?

4. Read comments that others have posted on the web and below
concerning the above issues.
