Hello,

We've been recommending CyberDuck for our users to connect to our SFTP server for well over a decade now, and haven't had many problems. A few years ago, we added Duo two-factor authentication to the login process for the server, and CyberDuck. has been handling that up until now.

I think maybe the latest release (v8.4.4) changed something, because now, after users authenticate with password and acknowledge a Duo two-factor push, it calls Duo again (and again, depending on how many retries are allowed in preferences).

We don't have this issue with command line sftp or when using SFTP via Fetch.

I have tried setting Transfer files to "Use browser connection" as we have had users do in the past, and that doesn't help. I've also tried "Open single connection" but that also doesn't work.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on what might fix this new issue.

Thank you,

More information, it appears that version 8.4.3 still works, but as of 8.4.4 it is broken.

I see you opened https://github.com/iterate-ch/cyberduck/issues/13777 where we will follow up.
