Hello,

Not sure if this is supported by either the Mac or Windows client.

But it would be a nice feature, and a compliant one.

Thanks for creating Cyberduck :)

P.S: May I suggest distributing Cyberduck for Windows through Impulse? https://developer.impulsedriven.com/

To sort by file type, either choose the List View and click the icon column, or add the "Kind" column to the browser from View → Column. On Windows, it works the same, altough there are still some issues with sorting lexicographically in addition to the folder first preference [1].

Hello,
don't suggest implementation of Windows-style bad habits to nice
Mac-style Cyberduck please ;-)

David described correct workaround :-)

That only semi fixed it. Since now all different groups get together. As the track entry were changed to defunct, I don't expect this to be fixed. Thanks for the workaround.

@Erben. This is not a bad Windows habit, but a natural order for my sake. Just got a MacBook Pro. Still I find the correct order to be folder above files.

My two semantic cents :P

Thought I'd put in a vote for folders at the top. And instead of just
voting and leaving at that, I figure I should at least spend some time
to explain why I believe in this.

More frequently, when I'm browsing through multiple levels of folders,
I use the folders at the top as a quick means for navigation. I'm
looking at the top of the list for where I want to go, and the rest of
the list for what files I need.

While I understand Windows doesn't follow the best of design
guidelines, I do think there's something to be said about design
consistency throughout the platform. It's jarring to go from Windows
File Explorer and then to Cyberduck. Granted, you guys have done TONS
of work on a donation based program, so I can definitely understand an
unwillingness to go against your own grain. But I do think many
Windows users would appreciate it.

Oh yeah, and thanks for bringing Cyberduck to Windows. You guys rock.
I never thought I'd see the day, but when that notice popped up on OS
X, I had to get it. So thanks.
