Download listed as complete on failure

If my FTP server (vsftpd)  goes down during a download, Cyberduck logs the I/O error as:

3/8/12 7:43:08 PM [0x0-0x8a08a0].ch.sudo.cyberduck[30679] 2012-03-08 19:43:08,594 [background-23] ERROR ch.cyberduck.core.ftp.FTPSession - IO Error: Connection closed without indication.

However, the Cyberduck Transfers  window says "Download complete".  My expectation would be that it would retry based on settings in the Preferences under the Connection tab.  If I double click on the item in the Transfers window, the transfer is resumed properly, however, I would like the transfer to resume automatically so long as the server comes back in a reasonable time (based on the preferences settings).

Am I missing something?  I restart my ftp server a few times a day to reset limits and performance parameters, and I would like my remote transfers to automatically resume when the server comes back up.
