What does "Disk Quota Exceeded" mean ?

I'm trying to upload about 27 gigs worth of video files for my client ... and it's stopped ... with the message "Disk Quota Exceeded."

I've tried Resume, etc.

Simplest possible explanation: The client's hosting account has a certain amount of disk space available, and it has all been filled.
