Dear ASC and Cybcom

I'm just writing to draw your attention to a conference I am hosting in Brighton this October (13-16). See details below and links to more information.

Relating Systems Thinking and Design is a conference series concerned with the development of systemic approaches to design in practice, research, and education. It is the annual conference of the Systemic Design Association. It is centred in design and systems thinking, but has featured cybernetics prominently, with keynotes from Ranulph Glanville, Paul Pangaro, Humberto Maturana, Pille Bunnell, and Klaus Krippendorff. In addition to the general call, please check out the seven focus sessions, which include topics inspired by Bateson and the Long Now Foundation, as well as concerns with method and planetary health that will be of interest in the context of cybernetics.
