Dear ASC Members,
We are excited to share that early-bird registration for ASC 2026: Conversational Confluences (August 3–7, Ouro Preto, Brazil) is now open and will be available at the reduced rate until May 15.

We have received a total of 125 abstracts featuring 19 artistic works, 12 performances, 12 poster presentations, and 82 paper presentations. The program is shaping up to be a rich and diverse gathering, and we look forward to sharing more details soon.
We are also pleased to announce a pre-conference gathering on Sunday, August 2, featuring a Cybernetics 101 conversation and presentation proposed by Larry Richards. It is a welcoming opportunity to set the tone for the days ahead, especially for those newer to the field.
