Hey everyone!
Happy New Year and happy inauguration day! How exciting was today?!
Our other San Diego Cardinal Young Alumni Co-President, Mike Shotton,
actually was lucky enough to make the trip and experience Obama's
inauguration in person! Lucky :)
I am writing to give you all a heads-up about a REALLY exciting event
we have coming up next month! On February 19th we are going to have a
career panel with five VERY qualified Stanford alumni with experience
in fields such as: law, business, non-profit, bio-tech, brand
management, marketing, PhD studies, and academia.
We are all entering into a new year, dealing with a very difficult
economy, a new President, and some level of uncertainty - and this may
or may not be affecting you in your career. We thought it would be a
great time to offer the opportunity to talk and network with sucessful
alumni in the area to hear their advice about any career oriented
questions you might have.
There was an announcement in the recent Stanford Where You Live e-mail
(and there will be another one in the February mailing). Also there
will be an Evite sent out this weekend that you can RSVP to. In the
meantime however, here are the details again:
