C# Engineer (middle/senior)

We are looking for experienced engineers to build C# client platform components for multi-player casino games.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

* Strong background and understanding of programming, mathematics, and OOP design & approach

* Implement game platform functionality per design document and specification (animation, game logic, game UI and server communication)

* Communicate with other team members to establish pipeline and integrate assets

* Give regular feedback to project lead as to implementation issues and possible improvements to game design

* Support external game development teams who are using the platform

* Address bugs and other technical issues identified for subsequent release

Essential Skills & Experience

* C# programming experience

* Experience with version control software

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Great communication skills in English

Java Server Engineer (middle/senior)

We are looking for experienced software developers and technical leads to develop a server side platform that will be an all-in-one solution for game developers for handling their server side logic.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing with a variety of technologies amongst which these would be the most notable: Java, JavaScript, C#.

You will be part of a team that designs, implements and configures scalable backend systems.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

* A good team player

* 3+ years of software development experience

* Strong understanding of client-server architectures, scalability, design patterns, object oriented design

* Experience in designing modules and components for complex enterprise scale applications

* Strong knowledge of technical planning, development and documentation of Java applications

* Strong experience with version control systems like SVN or Git and bug-tracking systems

* Strong spoken/written English communication skills

* Especially good knowledge of the following technologies and architectures:

Java

JavaScript

Web Services (REST, SOAP/XML)

QA Engineer (middle/senior)

SnowGlobe is looking for a world class QA Tester to help us develop the next generation of social and mobile casino games! We are looking for an energetic team player who has a passion for building great products. You will work very closely with developers and project managers in Bucharest and San Francisco.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

   * Understand, review and analyze product design specifications

   * Develop, update and maintain test cases and test plans

   * Verification and testing of newly implemented content and features according to specifications

   * Identify and report bugs, providing reproducible steps

   * Assist with prioritizing bug fixing efforts

   * Bug database management

   * Communicate QA project status to management

   * Collaborate with global teams

Essential Skills & Experience

   * 3+ years of software testing experience

   * Experience with manual testing and some automated testing

   * Experience in different types of testing (functional, regression, system, sanity testing)

   * Experience in testing web-based applications (cross browser testing)

   * Experience with bug tracking systems

   * Experience testing software across multiple platform deployments

   * Self starter, strong work ethic, and communication skills

   * Detailed and methodical testing process

   * Experience with agile development processes

   * Social or mobile game testing experience preferred
