This is a picture of a date code which indicates that anything above that number is a new generation chip. A cartridge with 4649 and lower will work in all printers that have been purchasing 950/951's. A 4650 and higher number indicates it's a new Generation chip.

Time for coffee :) These are the same HP 950s/ HP 951s as always, same printer models. The old chip stopped working some months back with all of the models so Clover updated. The date code helps you identify if you still have any old chips in your stock. Let me know if this helps.
