Problem: DHCP Server died
Cause: Old and new update programs conflicting
Affects: Anyone trying to get an IP address
Started: 05/13/2004 07:45 AM
Resolved: 05/13/2004 08:15 AM
Notes: There was a conflict between an older version of the program that updates the DHCP server tables and a newer version. The conflict caused the DHCP server to try to restart with only a partial file, causing it to fail to restart. The conflicting programs have been cleared, a complete host file has been generated and the DHCP server has been restarted.
