There is consternation over this trade so I wanted to say I'm just not going to keep bijan and I'd like to give up my commissioner powers since they led to me being accused of being shady.

We eliminated the veto years ago because we agreed we're all adults and are invested in the league. Whatever your opinion is on this trade, it's valid and I think we put it behind us and enjoy Niall losing anyway.

Upon reflection there’s no issues with the legitimacy of the trade, I am hot that Johnson traded away a top 10 keeper (and learning that he wasn’t even going to be kept at all).  Given that, there should be no reversals even though I understand why Niall offered to not keep Bijan cause I rained liquid fire on him.  Instead, I’ll just destroy him on the field like I did in the championship.

I wasn't keeping Bijan because I wanted to keep two quarterbacks and Justin Jefferson. I was going to keep Stroud and Herbert but Love is looking like a better keeper than Herbert at this point. Chargers have no WRs (sorry Tom) and are likely going to run a bunch under Harbaugh. Love is an MVP candidate, Jefferson is arguably the best WR and was on pace for 2K yards last year and Stroud is ascending. Bijan is going to be great too but couldn't justify keeping him over the best WR in football and two stud QBs.

Totally your prerogative to build your team the way you want.  It’s just that almost every ranking set I’ve seen has Bijan as the number 2 or 3 RB overall this year and arguably the number 1 RB in a keeper league.  I’m confident you could have kept him and still gotten Love (or even a higher ranked QB) with your first pick in the draft.  And of course I don’t want Niall to have nice things, particularly for free.

As long as the trade was accepted and agreed upon by both sides, there’s nothing else to discuss.

Niall -  thanks for setting this all up and hope you stay on as commissioner.
