ADMINISTRATION
Accounts Receivable Clerk: Under
supervision, responsible for the timely billing and collection of fees,
tuition, and preparation of related journal entries. Reconcile
miscellaneous receipts for Fund Development and review cash receipts for

with annual audit process. Assist with various research and special

Accounting Manager (New this week): Under
the supervision of the Vice President of Finance, generate accurate and
timely financial statements that are in compliance with generally
accepted accounting principles. Maintain an accounting system that
properly reflects the financial position and results of operations.
Ensure all general accounting transactions (accounts payable, accounts
receivable, payroll, etc.) are valid and complete; ensure all adjusting
journal entries are accurate, complete and reasonable; and ensure the
accuracy and reliability of the general ledger through the performance
of account analysis, reconciliation and fluctuation analysis. Develop,
implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures for all
general accounting activities as well as the general ledger activity.

Senior Accountant-Payroll: Full -time
position available in Culver City. Oversee the functions of the payroll
department: direct and review month-end close; prepare and/or ensure

ADULT PROGRAMS
Art Instructor/Printmaker : Full-time position
available in Culver City. The Instructor will work one-on-one with adult
students with developmental disabilities to develop their own unique
artwork for sale in our downtown gallery as well as in other exhibition
venues. This person should know a variety of printmaking techniques and
other mixed-media techniques including drawing, painting, collage, etc.
that can be adapted to create successful projects with our students.
Responsibilities also include ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our
students, and helping to maintain an overall enjoyable studio for all
participants. Applicant should know how to operate and maintain a
professional printing press, and be able to demonstrate their knowledge
through their art portfolio. Knowledge and interest in contemporary art
needed. Instructor will implement artistic, educational, and behavioral
treatment plans monthly. The position entails working with a several
developmentally disabled clients at a time in a fun and energetic
atmosphere. Experience with the developmentally disabled community is
highly preferred, but not required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and

Developmental Instructor: Full-time position
available in Culver City and Los Angeles. Responsibilities include
supervising and providing individualized and group instruction to adults
with varying degrees of developmental and physical disabilities at the
facility and during community based activities. Requirements: High

Job Coach: Full-time positions available in North Hollywood and Sun Valley (just added).
Under supervision, provide individualized vocational training to
consumers (adults with varying degrees of learning, behavioral,
emotional, and developmental disabilities) and organize all aspects of
job site placements. Assist case management staff in the development and
implementation of the vocational plan for each consumer. Act as a role
model and teach job tasks to consumers and monitor quality control of
work performed. Teach independent living skills related to work. Develop
working knowledge about job site company policies, work duties and
responsibilities. Implement ECF guidelines as they relate to medical
emergencies, suspected abuse or neglect and unusual incidents. Implement
CPR, first aid, and NCI. Those assigned to individual placements may
transport consumers to home or medical facility. Ensure the safety of

designed to increase gifts of $5,000+; carry out all aspects of the gift
cycle (initiate contacts, develop and coordinate cultivation

maintain contact with donor). Identify donors utilizing Raiser's Edge

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Therapist (bilingual): Full time position available
in LA County. Provide individual, family and group therapy to improve
the emotional and psychological well-being of children (Medi-Cal
recipients) and their families who live in Los Angeles County. Under
supervision, assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of clients
and their family members. Formulate, implement, and re-evaluate a
treatment plan through continuous assessment identifying the client's
problems, strengths, readiness to change, external influences and
current events surrounding the origins and maintenance of the presenting
issue, and interactional patterns within the client system. Conduct
interventions and provide counseling. Prepare and participate in weekly

Residential Assistant: Full-time, part-time
and substitute positions available in Reseda. Under supervision, assist
with ensuring the residential home is physically maintained and the day
to day needs of residents are met. Assist the residents with personal
hygiene (toileting, bathing, dressing, diaper changing, etc.),
administer medications, transport residents, and write progress reports.
Requirements: High school diploma and one year
directly related experience. Must be able to transfer an adult to and
from a wheelchair. Experience working with developmentally disabled
individuals and knowledge of residential home operations, Department of

SCHOOL PROGRAM
Highly Qualified Teacher: Full
time positions available in Culver City. Provide an educational program
for high school students who are developmentally disabled or have
special needs. Ensure progress on all IEP goals and district and state
requirements. Continually assess student needs, and design and deliver
lessons based on those needs and state standards. Work closely with
parents/care providers, classroom team, school staff and administrators
to ensure students' needs and goals are met. Manage the educational
program for each student in assigned classroom. Maintain communication
between the classroom team, the assistant principal/principal and the
school administrative staff, especially in regard to student information
and attendance, class schedule changes, and the changing needs of the
students and the classroom program. Establish and maintain a behavior
management system in the classroom consistent with the school's
policies. Assess individual students in all curriculum areas relevant to
the IEP twice a year and document in the progress reports. Establish
individual student goals and objectives and coordinate these with other
services being provided to the student, using the appropriate school
district form. Develop appropriate and complementary activities (i.e.,
field trips or presentations) coordinating these with other school
programs, and ensure that they comply with school policies. Maintain

Technology Teacher (New this week):
Full-time position available in Culver City. Provide skilled instruction
in a variety of computer programs to students in the Elementary, Middle
and High School; serve as a resource to school staff on educational
software, hardware, and teaching aids. Facilitate technology competence
with knowledge and appreciation; evaluate student skill level, progress
and needs. Facilitate social/emotional interaction through computer
skills. Teach word processing, spreadsheets, Power Point, and publishing
software; assist teachers with integrating new software in academic
programs. Provide leadership to school-wide technology committee to
establish goals. Establish and maintain a behavior management system in
the classroom, consistent with the school's policies, and manage its

Enrichment Coordinator on the first of the month. Develop complementary

programs, and ensure that they comply with Center policies. Create a
yearbook with student participation that is completed and offered for
sale one month before school ends. Maintain an attractive classroom
environment conducive to and representative of learning (organized,
orderly, and accessible.) Bulletin boards should be changed regularly.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
and a valid Special Education Internship, or Preliminary Level 1, Clear Level II, or equivalent
California State Special Education Credential. Two years teaching
experience in special education classroom; demonstrated experience in
the field of technology education.
School Administrative Coordinator:
Full-time position available in Culver City. Assist the Student
Services Manager with all clerical tasks related to tracking records,
reporting, maintenance of all related paperwork and other general office
needs. The School Administrative Coordinator is responsible for
maintaining all student records, and serves as the secondary contact for
the department. This position is highly visible; a professional
appearance and demeanor are essential. Generate and maintain up to date,
accurate, and timely reports. Enter data into NPsoft and
Welligent;Collect and cross-check teacher's registered daily attendance
(RDA). Coordinate with School Principal, Director of Counseling and

Full-time positions available in Culver City. Support/assist students
who have learning, emotional and/or developmental challenges with their
behavioral and social-emotional needs and support the classroom teacher
before and after school. Circulate in the classroom, check students'
work and keep them on track; remain within physical proximity of
assigned student(s) at all times; assist with individual student's
emotional/psychological needs; use approved Non-Violent Crisis
Intervention (NCI) techniques to de-escalate, physically escort, or
contain a student in crisis. Support the classroom team in the
development/implementation/fulfillment of the student's (s') goals, IEP
goals, and objectives, especially as they pertain to problem solving and
behavior; attend conferences with the family of each student during the
school year; assist with supervising social-recreational periods,
nutrition and lunch periods. Under direction, set-up classroom, conduct
on-line research, update bulletin boards, make copies, grade student
work, record grades, and assemble student files. Document
behavioral/social-emotional activities of students and update the

Behavior Intervention Specialist :
Duties will be performed at various schools in Los Angeles County. Work
with students on a 1:1 basis during the school day, assisting with
daily behavior, social-emotional needs, and interactions as well as
providing updated behavior reports. Students to be served may include
those on the Pervasive Developmental Spectrum, Autistic Disorder,
sensory integration dysfunction, expressive/receptive speech disorders,
social integration dysfunction, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder, non-specific learning disorders and behavior problems.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 6 months experience working with
special needs children and knowledge of the autistic spectrum. Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
Developmental Instructor: Substitute positions
available in Culver City and Los Angeles. Responsibilities include
supervising and providing individualized and group instruction to adults
with varying degrees of developmental and physical disabilities at the
facility and during community based activities. Requirements: High
school diploma or equivalent plus one year experience working with
adults with special needs. Valid California driver's license and
insurable driving record. Have or obtain a California Class B driving
license and First Aid, CPR, and NCI certification within six months of
employment. Salary: $9.25 - $12.49 per hour
Job Coach: Temporary position available in
West Los Angeles. Under supervision, provide individualized vocational
training to consumers (adults with varying degrees of learning,
behavioral, emotional, and developmental disabilities) and organize all
aspects of job site placements. Assist case management staff in the
development and implementation of the vocational plan for each consumer.
Act as a role model and teach job tasks to consumers and monitor
quality control of work performed. Teach independent living skills
related to work. Develop working knowledge about job site company
policies, work duties and responsibilities. Implement ECF guidelines as
they relate to medical emergencies, suspected abuse or neglect and
unusual incidents. Implement CPR, first aid, and NCI. Those assigned to
individual placements may transport consumers to home or medical
facility. Ensure the safety of assigned trainees by complying with ECF's
Injury and Illness Prevention Program and individual community site
requirements, as well as being aware of and reporting safety hazards. Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent and one year working with
individuals, preferably adults, with developmental, learning, or
emotional/physical disabilities in a direct client service position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong
interpersonal and problem solving skills. Ability to perform basic math
calculations. Ability to perform various job tasks i.e. janitorial, food
service, and clerical in order to demonstrate to consumers. Ability to
work a flexible schedule and adapt to schedule changes. Salary: $9.50 to $12.83 per hour
Residential Assistant: This substitute position will
be available at various sites on an "as needed" basis. Under
supervision, assist with ensuring the 24-hour residential home is
physically maintained and the day to day needs of residents are met.
Assist the residents with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing,
dressing, diaper changing, etc.), administer medications, transport
residents, and write progress reports. Requirements:
High school diploma and one year directly related experience. Must be
able to transfer an adult to and from a wheelchair. Experience working
with developmentally disabled individuals and knowledge of residential
home operations, Department of Developmental Services, Regional Center
Title 17 requirements helpful. Salary: $9.00 to $12.15 per hour
