Solar Cooking at Plant Sale reminder

Just a reminder that Central Valley Solar Cookers will have an informational display at Clovis Botanical Garden's annual plant sale from 9am to 2pm this Saturday 9-29-12. For those of you helping; they want us set up by 8 am. Let us know if you can't be there by 8am so that we can have it organized appropriately. We will also have a Cook-it there for tracing if you want to bring a 3'x4' piece of cardboard to trace so that you can make your own. Please come and support us. Bring what ever you would like to cook. Carl will be making French Fries on his big parabolic dish.

Oct. 25th we have an evening meeting scheduled at Woodward Park Library. The pre-meeting starts at 6:30. The meeting will be from 7-8:30. We will be discussing next June's Solar Cooking Festival and other plans for our group. Does any one want to volunteer to bring solar cooked refreshments?

Nov.17th we will be at the San Joaquin River Parkway's "Holiday Cheer" event. We are looking for volunteers to help at this fun event.
