Solar Cooking Festival Press release 2013

Come let your light shine and discover whats on the cutting edge. Solar Cooking enthusiasts from around the country will gather on Sat June 22 2013 from 10-5 at the Discovery Center . There are a number of hot reasons to check out this super cool activity. It's a trifecta of global cooling goodness that can make you feel smart and powerful at the same time. We are blessed with some of the best conditions in the nation for this activity and the Central Valley Solar cookers are an impassioned group leading the charge. If you and the kids are interested in live music, cooking demonstrations, and cool science exhibits then the Discovery Center in East Central Fresno is the place to be. On June 22, 2013 from 10 am - 5pm The Central Valley Solar Cookers in conjunction with The Discovery Center will be hosting the second annual Central Valley Solar Cooking Festival. There will be solar cooking demonstrations, science demonstrations, and live music from some of Fresno's best artists. Local craft vendors and related green technologies will be present.
