October 25th we will have an evening meeting at Woodward Park Library, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We intend to focus on plans for next years Solar Cooking Festival ( June 21,22 &23,2013) starting at 7 pm. From 6:30 to 7 pm we'll have a pre-meeting and will have a cook-it there to trace for those of you who still need a cooker ( bring a 3'x4' piece of cardboard please). We are also asking for a couple volunteers to bring some refreshments.
One of our goals is to promote solar cooking and we think this festival is a great way to do this. Plus if we get it right we should be able to help The Discovery Center too. If you have additional ideas for our group to pursue or need help learning to cook please come and share. If you can't come on the 25th please plan on helping at the festival in June. It's going to be a big, fun and educational event. We will need all kinds of help.
