Dear CVPA Community,
This coming Monday, UC Merced's Department of Cognitive and Information Sciences will host the first Mind, Technology, and Society (MTS) speaker of the year from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Kolligian Library, room 232. Benjamin Young of University of Nevada, Reno will be presenting his talk, "Compositionality in Thought and Perception". Abstract and readings are provided on the Google Calendar for MTS. Note that the theme of this term is "Theories of Mind," covering core philosophical perspectives and theories in cognitive science.
