2015 NAHN Scholarships and Awards Application Forms Now Available   Apply for the 2015 NAHN Scholarships and Special Awards The National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) is delighted to announce the 2015 NAHN Scholarship and NAHN Awards application period has started. View more information and how to apply below! 2015 NAHN Scholarships Deadline to apply for the Scholarships:  Friday, April 3, 2015 Scholarship awards are presented to NAHN members enrolled in accredited LVN/LPN, associate, diploma, baccalaureate, and graduate nursing programs. Selection of recipients is based on need, current academic standing, whether they are a United States citizen or legal resident of the United States and other criteria listed below. Scholarship recipients are a select group of Hispanic nursing students who demonstrate promise of professional contributions to the nursing profession and who have the potential to act as role models for other aspiring nursing students. Scholarships will be presented at the 2015 NAHN Annual Conference. Learn More and Apply NOTE: Among other qualifications, applicants to all categories of scholarships must be a NAHN member for at least six (6) months previous to the submission deadline. 2015 NAHN Special Awards Deadline to apply for the Special Awards:  Friday, April 3, 2015 NAHN established the Ildaura Murillo-Rohde Award for Education Excellence, the Henrietta Villaescusa Community Service Award, the Janie Menchaca Wilson Leadership Award, and the Sarah Gomez Erlach Humanitarian Award to honor and provide special recognition to Hispanic nurses. These Special Awards honor NAHN members for their demonstrated excellence in nursing education, community service and for their spirit and dedication in serving the Hispanic community. Special awards are an opportunity for NAHN members to be recognized and celebrated for their extraordinary achievements within the discipline of nursing.
