Hi!
Let’s dust off the CVMake email list and start talking about what’s going on at the space and stuff. You know we have our own irl space in Westlake now, right? Come over and make it yours!
Here’s an event I’m looking forward to…
The Conejo Valley Makerspace has Tech Tuesday Night every week, where we take deep dives into random technologies like USB, Arduino, CAN bus, OBDII, Cloud Services, HAM radio, Radar Jamming, SCADA, and other random technologies. We are looking to make technology accessible to people of all levels.
This week we will talk about the basics of Cloud Computing (mostly on AWS, but others are similar).
Why did cloud computing happen? What are the must-use services? How does networking work in the cloud?
Please watch this 14-minute video that explains Cloud Computing to prepare and look forward to vibrant Q&A with our expert speaker:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okqLxzWS5R4
We will try to simulcast on Google Hangouts (ID fhq-txgk-dnp), but it won't be as good as in Person.
When:
Tuesday, Feb 27th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Where:
Conejo Valley Makerspace
31332 Via Colinas #108
Westlake Village, CA 91362
Drive straight in to the industrial park, until you get to the back wall. We are the last door on the right #108.
Open to members and non-members.
See you there!
