Good morning-Sadly, my rooster disappeared, probably the fox got him. I have two hens-a Barred Rock hatched last spring and laying an egg a day:A two yo brown hen that lays beautiful dark brown speckled eggs when she starts laying again. The girls are lost without their leader and are free to a good home-prefer free range. After ten years I am giving up-I have lost too many chickens!
