It is with a profoundly heavy heart that I write to inform you that yesterday evening our friend Tina lost her courageous battle with Cancer. I spoke with Greg last night who shared the sad news. He was by Tina's side from the beginning and expressed that he has a good support system around him right now. It will be a tough time ahead for him but he seems to be in a relatively good space at the moment. I have asked Greg to share with me any information about arrangements and will forward them on once I have them.
During our conversations over the past few months, Greg has always mentioned his and Tina's gratitude to all of the Bills Backers and Lazy Parrot patrons your support and donations. Throughout these months I have constantly been impressed with their strength, faith and ability to take comfort in the friends, family and hospice team members who have been there to support them throughout this ordeal.
In this season of Thanksgiving I wanted to take a moment to thank you all, on their behalf, for your kind deeds and thoughtful prayers. Please know that when times where at their darkest and most hopeless, your actions lifted their spirits and were a a true blessing to them.
Though there was not enough time for them to marry, your efforts have helped them immensely. Our group will continue to run our raffle and accept donations to aide in covering final arrangements for Tina's funeral and other related expenses. Please also know that all support, whether in the form of donations or in prayers, are equally appreciated.
