....against the Packers!

In their history the Bills have played the Pack 10 times and currently have a 7-3 Record.  So there IS hope!  Just needed to spread a little optimism after the Bills Week 1 debacle against the Phish. 

thanks to all of you Bills fans who showed up for Week 1.  We packed the Parrot and it was great to see all the new faces.  We are growing each year and that is a great.  I can only imagine what it will be like when the Bills start to win. 

The Bills who are supposedly going to be playing a better brand of football under the new Nix/Gailey regime certainly did not show it during Week 1.  Their offense struggled and looked flat and CJ Spiller did not have nearly enough touches to get into a rhythm.  That all-too-familiar feeling for Bills fans crept up almost immediately and now the Bills stumble into Green Bay to face a team that many have as Super Bowl contenders in 2010.  On the plus side, the Bills Defense looked decent.  They stopped the run and it was good to see McKelvin step up and play his heart out.

This week is going to be a sure struggle.  The Packers will be without their star Running Back but that alone won't be enough to help the Bills unless they step up and play some smash-mouth football.  The season is young and if the Bills can pull off an upset or even compete until the end, then maybe... just maybe, this season will turn around sooner rather than later.

(not Jay-Z) who not only purchased tickets but who also donated an additional and sizable sum of money to go directly to the cause.  I don't even know what to say other than thank you.  Bills fans really know how to rally and unite to help each other.  There are no better fans in the world.
