Orientation is Off to a Great Start!

Yesterday, Tuesday, June 15, 2010, we concluded the first two days of
our three day orientation for new juniors. Over fifty engaged and
enthusiastic juniors attended orientation, and the event was a
tremendous success. The CVGS faculty and staff want to thank our
juniors for their energy and their obvious commitment to making the
most out of each activity. We also want to thank our senior
volunteers for their invaluable assistance and thank the staff at
Heritage High School for allowing us to use their facilities. Our
CVGS team conducted our debriefing today, and the program evaluations
from the students were very helpful as we began planning improvements
for next year!
After such a fantastic experience with our newest students, we are
really looking forward to our third and final orientation day on
August 16th, which will be immediately followed by our first day of
the 2010-11 school year for all students on August 17th!
