Spring Garden Forum - You're Invited!

Greetings all!

You are invited to our first ever county-wide School Garden Forum! It will be hosted at Montpelier High School's Library on Wednesday April 30th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm. It will be a great event for anyone interested in hearing about the Garden in Every School in Washington County initiative and developing food systems education projects. 

The agenda includes a tour of MHS greenhouses, a panel discussion with Tom Sabo (Montpelier High School), Ellen Sulek (Barre Town Elementary & Middle School), Karen Nelson (Vermont Health Department), and Jess Hyman (Vermont Community Garden Network), and a mini-workshop on seed starting with Sarah Zettelmeyer. NECI has been generous enough to provide a light meal to start us off.
