Hi Spring Leaguers
Things got off to a great start on Thursday, thanks to everyone who sent scores and feedback from the games.
The fixtures for this Thursday attached. Now we start ladder play, so for the next few weeks the winner from each pool moves up one division, the losing team moves down, and the middle team stays the following week. Pools 1 and 2 play at USC, 3 plays at Manor, and 4 and 5 play at Perse.
As you probably noticed, no one is running/organizing things at each venue, so please don't wait for someone to tell you what to do and get the games started! Remember the first team to ref (team 3) at each court is responsible to help get the net set up and the first game started on time, and refs of the following games to keep things moving. The last reffing team (team 1) should help clean up and then send me all the scores for your court. Timing is especially tight at USC, so please make sure you're there and ready before 8 and keep the time between matches a bit shorter to make sure all the games get played before they kick us out!
I know most of you know the drill and this all usually goes really well, thanks a lot for your help :)
Please remember to bring balls and a whistle, and to record the scores for each set. The rest of the details about the league are in the mail below, just let me know if you have any questions.
