Hi
Any thoughts on this email before I send it out to club members? By Friday please!
**Do the temporary (pay per play) members pay subscription fees at all and not allowed/allowed voting rights?
I have suggestions for several policies we may need to add onto the club website unless we have these already somewhere.  I can bring these to the next meeting after the AGM eg Child Protection, Equity, Health & Safety, Privacy, Parent Consent/Medical Form, Emergency procedure and Code of Conduct of players, coaches etc.
Thanks
Karen

Dear all
These are the proposed amendments to the Cambridge Volleyball Club Constitution discussed at the previous committee meetings:-

Senior members -   *Full Playing Members:   Full Playing Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has paid the appropriate subscription. Full Playing Members have full voting rights
*Temporary Members: Temporary Membership is for individuals who pay per training session organised by the Club. Temporary Members shall have no voting rights and shall ordinarily incur no subscription fee unless the Management Committee agree otherwise.

6. Membership fees - * Collection of these shall be the responsibility of the Management Committee who is authorised to set in place and administer an appropriate collection policy. The Management Committee is authorised to waive or reduce fees on an individual basis

* 14. Distribution of the constitution - A copy of this constitution shall be available to every Member via the website

Please inform me if you would like to vote on these proposed amendments before Wed 21st May.

Hi Karen,

They seem fine, one point in Membership fees, is the management committee defined in the constitution, should it just be the committee?

Regards

Thanks Karen.

Yes I would agree that AGM agenda goes out to the whole club.  Members also need to have access to last year’s AGM minutes since one of the items on the agenda is to for members to approve last year’s minutes?  Maybe send them along with the agenda via email and have them posted on website?

Cheers

Frances
