Dear Committee,

Unfortunately I couldn't make any of the last meetings and I haven't surveyed the current players for interest but my understanding is that we are keeping the men's team in the NVL.  I just wanted to confirm and I'll reply to this email as such.

There'll be an additional £25 because the good will deposits are being increased from £75 to £100.  However, it seems we've managed to secure the cheaper option of playing in div 3..

Jean

Dear All,

I would like to remind all NVL Teams of the following NVL Regulation;

Section I. End of Season

Regulation I 1. Any club or team not entering for the ensuing season must notify the Competitions Commission at least 2 weeks prior to the end of the current NVL season; otherwise all fees and goodwill deposit will be retained.

With the end of season date set as 13th April 2014 as per NVL Regulation B 1 viii, it means that Teams have until the end of Sunday 30th March to notify the Competitions Commission.  You can do this by replying to this email.

Important Information for the 2014-15 Season;

League Entry Fees;

Super 8s - £360

Division 1 - £310

Division 2 - £260

Division 3 - £230

Player Registration Fees;

Seniors Player - £30

Juniors Player (U18) - £20

Transfer Fees - £18 (for players registered for another NVL team in the last 2 years)

The Competitions Commission increased the NVL Goodwill Deposit to £100 from £75 (at their Competitions Commission Meeting in May 2013 for implementation for the 2014-15 Season).  The additional NVL Goodwill Deposit will improve Volleyball England’s ability to cover costs associated with Teams falling foul of the NVL Regulations, should the need arise.

Should a Team decide that they wish to leave the NVL; the NVL Goodwill Deposit will be returned in full, providing that the Team in question has complied with the NVL Regulations and does not have any outstanding debts with Volleyball England.

Teams entering the NVL for 2014-15 will need to pay the additional £25 to take their NVL Goodwill Deposit to £100 at the time of entering.  This figure should be added to the Entry Fee at the time of entering.

If you have any questions about any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,

Jonathan Moore

Hi Jean
Yes, Phil confirmed we should have at least 6 for the NVL men so you can let them know.
Thanks
Sarah

Hi all,

As I understand from J Moore's email, we should only reply IF the team wants to withdraw from NVL, is that right?
If we're staying there's no need to let them know
