Hi - wrt Junior coaching has anyone looked into the requirements needed
to run this (especially as it is advertised)? I think the Event
Organisers and Welfare Pack from the VE event licence covers child
protection guidance - CRB checked supervisors, photography on site,
coach/child ratios etc. Not that any of this should be necessary but in
the event of an issue its probably best to have the safeguards in place
for the club otherwise Phil could end up in prison (as chair of the club
and therefore responsible adult). Apart from the lack of entries this is
why we gave up on junior competitions at the tournament...
Could ask Tim Leek or Jean about this, they have probably done the most
recent junior coaching in Cambridge..
