Hi CVC

It seems Phil forgot two of the most important things about the AGM...the food and the party!

For the AGM itself we'll be providing a light buffet dinner for everyone who attends, but we need to know who's coming to plan for numbers. Please let me know if you can make it by Wednesday May 21st.

Then after the meeting there's the CVC end of season party, open to everyone from the club and Spring League. The party is also at the Fountain so there's no need to move anywhere, just stand up and start dancing :) 

Really hope you can make it to both the AGM and the party, both are great ways to get involved in the club and have some fun!

This is the one formal meeting of the year that everyone should attend. 

 

The club is run by a few people but for everyone, this is your chance to show your support for the people that enable you to play volleyball at CVC.

 

Also if there is anything you are not happy with please let me know and it can be raised at the meeting. 

 

You can also take a part in running the club so if you would like to be on the committee please let me know.  The club members at the AGM will decide who runs the club for the next year.

 

The current committee positions are:

a)      Chairman – Philip Game

b)      Treasurer – Sarah Heeson

c)      Secretary – Karen Veitch

d)      Fixtures Secretary – Frances Balaam

e)      Social Secretary – Bronwyn/Roberta/Sarah Maplesden-Jenkins

f)       Publicity /Website Secretary – Sarah Maplesden-Jenkins

g)      Team Secretary for NVL Women – Anna Protasio

h)      Team representatives for NVL Men – Jean Jacquet

i)        Team Secretary for County Women – Ursula Lowe

j)        Team secretary for county men- Shunsuke

k)      Coaches – Philip Game-NVL M & County Men, Keith McAdam-NVL Women & Beg, Ursula Lowe-County Women  

 

The club only works if people take an active role in the above positions so if you want to be involved please let me know.

Hi Everyone

Just a reminder that I need to know numbers for the AGM food order by today, please let me know if you're planning to attend, even if you think I already know you're coming!

The AGM is open to everyone in the club at all levels and everyone is encouraged to participate. It's a great chance to find out how the club is run and to share your ideas for how to make it even better, and don't worry you won't get roped into anything you don't want to do :) 

And don't forget about the end of season party!! Immediately after the AGM, also at the Fountain. Even if you can't make it to the meeting please come join us for some fun later! Free cover until 11.

Again please let me know asap if you're able to come to the AGM so I can make sure you get fed :)
