Subject: Club Leaders Comes to Coach Education Week
Importance: High
Dear NGB
We are delighted to confirm that as part of Coach Education Week 2014 a
Club Leaders seminar will be taking place.
Club Leaders is part of the Olympic Legacy programme, Places People
Play, and provides free training and support to those doing the
day-to-day running of community sport, helping create a robust,
economically sustainable and enterprising club network. Club Leaders is
being delivered by PwC who are working with Sport England to help
improve business skills in sports clubs by bringing their knowledge and
experience to the programme.
On 8th April 2014 at Sportspark Norwich from 6.30pm - 8.30pm a
'Developing a Business Plan' seminar will be taking place. The seminar
is free to attend and will cover the following content:
- What a business plan is and why your club should have one
- Who you should involve in creating a business plan and when you
should use it
- How to develop a plan for your club using a simple framework
- Practical advise on what to include in your plan, how to
structure it and pitfalls to avoid
- Examples of business plans clubs have created and used with
success

following link need to be clicked on:
