So what are your thoughts? I think that we have a pretty good thing
going, and would like to see more players. What do you think we need
to do to attract more players?

I dont think alot of people know about it. I have spoken to some
people at work and found three new people who love soccer but were
totally unaware there was an adult league around here.
Could we make up some flyers and post them around town?
Put something in the paper?
Would Kwwl like to do a community intrest story on the news? Get some
film of the adults playing. Post it in at the soccer complex so
parents taking kids might see it?
Give the youth coaches a flyer to give kids that could get passed to
the parents?

My name is Mark. I just moved here a couple of weeks ago from Dayton,
Ohio to Waterloo. I do play soccer on a regular basis and I found you
on the internet. I don't know how I could move and not play soccer in
a new community. Since I found you so easily, via the internet, I
think you have that covered. May I also suggest Craigslist, the local
newspaper, flyers at the grocery stores and wherever in this community
where a lot of people hang out and where you can post. Certainly,
kids soccer is very popular here and word of mouth is a great
resource. The YMCA is another great posting site as well as
churches. Hope this helps. Look forward to some great soccer with
you.

I just found this group by searching google :) I currently coach U12
with Bob Seymour and I am very interested in playing soccer. I'll be
sure to register. I recommend some marketing, I was fortunate enough
to find this group through google, but I don't think that method is
going to work for a lot of people.
