Most collisions are caused by driver error or behaviours such as following too closely, speeding, failure to yield the right of way, improper turns, running red lights and frequently changing lanes. There are also drivers who intentionally put others at risk through such reckless behaviour. Statistics show that new drivers of all ages are far more likely than experienced drivers to be involved in serious or fatal collisions.
This handbook gives new drivers the basic information they need about learning to drive in Ontario: the rules of the road, safe driving practices and how to get a licence to drive a car, van or small truck. The ministry recommends that all drivers would benefit from taking an advanced course in driver training.
As you read, remember that this handbook is only a guide. For official descriptions of the laws, look in the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario and its Regulations. Information on how to get licences to drive other types of vehicles is available in Part Two of this handbook, the Official MTO Motorcycle Handbook, the Official MTO Truck Handbook, the Official MTO Bus Handbook and the Official MTO Air Brake Handbook.

To earn your learner's license in the state of Florida, you must pass the Florida learner's permit test, officially known as the Class E Knowledge Exam. If you are under 18, you can take the exam online using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. However, a parent is required to be present during your exam.
The permit exam has a total of 50 multiple-choice questions. To pass the exam, you must score at least 80 percent, which is 40 out of 50 questions correct. The topics you need to study and understand are covered in the Official Florida Driver License Handbook.
However, the handbook is over 100 pages long, and some teens might find it intimidating. While it is vital to read the entire handbook, an online prep course may help you better understand key topics covered on the learner's permit test.

A parent or legal guardian needs to be present while you take the exam. Before you receive your permit, your parent or guardian must fill out a Parent Proctoring Form. This form must be signed in front of a notary public or in the presence of a driver's license examiner or agent.
A provision of Florida law states that any person who passes a Class E Knowledge Exam provided by an authorized third-party administrator may be randomly selected to appear in person for a mandatory retest. Students receive no prior notice and do not have to pay an additional fee.

hi.there..i have already studied from practica test and gave theory exam and its my 5th time now..i failed 4 times..the questions whick comes in exam are a way different from.those present in the practicatest..plz can u guide me with a more reliabe book and website.

hi, i have registered in a driving school, however they provided me only 15 tests in English, they told me just study them and go to pass the test since there is not a lot of things in an english test! however i studied them in two days what do you think about what they are saying?
15 seems like not too many. I think you would definitely have to study with a book or go to classes as well as only do 15 practice tests. Can you ask them for another form of studying as well as those 15?

Thanks got your response. I already have B type license . And now i want to do C type license which is for bus license. And for that it also include CAP ( certificado aptitud profesional ) which is a thueratical and in Spanish. Is it possible to this in English both C practical and CAP.

I am a bit confused.On the second article regarding this issue you stated that your written test was in english while the driving test was in spanish. Now instead I understand that both tests were in english ( theory & driving ). I do not speak spanish and for me it would be impossible to pass the driving test if the instructor speaks only spanish.
I was going through the comments and saw that another person said that he went for the test 5 times and already failed 4 times after studying on Practicatest because according to him, the questions are really different.. (website VS actual exam)

The questions will always vary for every test, they are never exactly the same but PracticaTest is good to get an idea. The best thing to do is practice as many variations as you can and study a bit.
hey! I am in similar situation! Moved from Dubai two months ago and joined a Driving school. The theory tests are driving me totally nuts! The English is so bad that i cant even understand what theyre trying to ask!
Hi Nita, You can bring your car over here and drive with a foreign license temporarily but eventually (usually after 5 years) you will have to get a Spanish license if you want to continue driving here

Beware of unofficial websites which appear to accept bookings for the driver theory test. These websites are fraudulent. For security, you should only book your test on the official driver theory test site.
At the end of your exam a pass or fail result will be displayed on screen. You will also be sent a link to view your score report via the email you provided on your booking. This report will show the specific category areas where you answered questions correctly or incorrectly.
To drive in Germany, in principle, you need a driving licence issued in Germany or another EU country. Driving licences from non-EU countries are only valid for six months in Germany. This means that you are only allowed to drive in Germany with a driving licence from your home country for the first six months. The period begins with your first police registration ("polizeilichen Anmeldung") in Germany. You must always carry your driving licence with you when driving.
You must also have a translation of your driving licence into German with you. The translation must have been done by a German or internationally recognized automobile club or an authority in your home country or by a sworn translator. You can find sworn translators at bdue.de. No translation is required for driving licences issued from the following countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Hong Kong, Monaco, New Zealand, San Marino, Switzerland and Senegal. You don't need a translation for international driving licences, either.
