Dear Bermira,

As we move into 2010--our 90th Anniversary in Georgia--we know this is
a critical year in our state as the General Assembly grapples with the
challenges of the state budget vs. the needs of education,
transportation, the environment and other issues.
These challenges are the very reason LWVGA continues to be the
nonpartisan voice at the State Capitol. We don't choose people or
parties; we choose issues. This is the reason the League was formed,
and 2010 is a pivotal year in many ways for our state and for the
League.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 as
we share with you the League's 2010 Legislative Priorities; update you
on Elections, Education, Transportation, and Environmental issues in
the State Legislature.

Please invite your State Senators and Represenatives to the event.
