Hi all,

I want to tell you a thing which is just a modified design of what now
exists. Now, any desktop computer needs an exclusive table so as to
have provision to place the keyboard and mouse. People go in to buy
computer table for this purpose. Why not just make the keyboard rest
separately, so that it can be attached to any table? (by table, i mean
office table)

This keyboard rest has two planes, one to place the keyboard and a
plane below it, to place the mouse. This second plane moves along a
slideway such that it can be moved both right and left side, helping
in with both right hand users and left hand users.

The detachable thing can be achieved like the top screw which can be
bolted with the table surface and the bottom support lies beneath it.
Or any rubber support can also be provided and clamped. Both these are
easily detachable in a matter of less than a minute.

Guys, i dono if this idea is worth, but do comment me so as to make a
progress in this...

Regards,
Anand kumaresh.

Hi Anand,

This is an interesting idea, if you can draw, I suggest you draw it so
people can visually see what your idea looks like. I've seen similar
products in the USA before... in fact, I used one of it, it's a
keyboard tray which can be screwed onto the bottom of any wooden
table / desk. It has a smaller tray on the right side which can slide
out for your mouse. So, similar to your idea, but I haven't seen any
of these products in Hong Kong or in Japan. I wonder why... it's a
great idea!!

I'm sorry, I promised to write an English translation guide so you can
register at CUUSOO.com and post your ideas. I WILL get to it! I
promise! Keep up the great ideas!

Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick,
Thanks for the reply.

I have the drawing designed using Pro-E software, only just the clamp part is to be added.

And right now am out of station and I don't have my system with me. And the picture of my design is in that.

I will send you the drawing tomorrow around this time. Should I just send it to your mail or post in this group site?

regards,
Anand Kumaresh.

No no no... don't not post it on here or send to me.  Designs and drawings / pictures should be posted on CUUSOO.com.

When you post an idea on CUUSOO.com, you own the rights to the idea.  When enough people wish for your idea to be made into reality, manufacturers licenses the idea from you through CUUSOO.com.  So, it's a system that protects the designers.

Let me make an "English guide to use CUUSOO.com" first, and then you can register and post your drawings directly on there.

Thanks,
- Nick
