Hi all,

I have just updated the design of the bag, adding the idea of having an compartment for carrying laptop (don't know if it works), please have a look when you have time:

Thanks

Hi Shelly,

Thank you for your comments. It would be always great to get other people's feedbacks so that designs can be improved further and further.

For the pattern design for the Kyle bag, I am helping Queenie to do it and she is the main co-ordinator of this exciting project.
You can always ask her if she has any arrangement or other further plans.

Thanks
Charlotte

HI All,

Sorry and too bad to miss your meeting again.  I have been feeling
quite sick.  I like the second kyle bag design.  I saw message re:
laptop bag, which seems like a spam or something but would probably be
a good idea to do something for as many of us are carrying laptop
around these days and probably would need something comfortable and
efficient - perhaps a compartment to the second bag design, just a
thought...

further to the previous discussion about expanding the design Kyle Bag
I by adding some patterns, is that still in the plan, i'd be happy to
help with that.

Hi Charllote...

I saw your bag design. And is there any explanation on why you have kept three sections in the bag? I mean the three horizontal sections which are on both sides of the bag...

And one more thing, since the bag can be put over our shoulder, why cant the length of the arm rope be made adjustable? ie. the length can be both elongated or contracted, so it suits peoople of all heights...

I just want to say you my comment, but don't know if it is worth considering...

Regards,
Anand Kumaresh.

Hi Anand,

Thanks for your feedbacks, and thanks for giving me an opportunity to explain further to everyone.

The three sections are just the stitches running across the fabric surface. It is proposed to be the intention of making the bag look fashionable (it can have more stitches so to make more patterns), and the stitches also serve to make the bag more cushion like as to make the bag more baggy so that people will feel more comfortable when carrying it under their arms. Too many and dense stitches might have a chance of getting the fabric material too stiff ( I will have to ask the professional bag maker in details on this aspect if there are people really want to make the bag comes true by any chance) and may lose the soft & comfort-feeling when you carry the bag.

The stitches are horizontal because I would think the design would look simplistic and stylish, horizontal stitches would look better than vertical stitches aesthetically. There are no absolute rights or wrongs in designs.

For adjustable arm rope might not be applicable to this design and the materials I am thinking of using. My thought would be die-cutting the bag with the handle together with the body of the bag in once out of one type of material. Here I am thinking about lowering the production cost (I will need to ask expert on this as well since I might be wrong). Maybe my drawing is not clear, the handle and the body of the bag is one continuous entity. Afterall, I just want to create something that is nice, simple and economical for everyone to use. But thanks for your suggestions always.

You can also take a look at the first Kayla bag idea about the adjustable handle because it is a nice thought:

Thanks
