Theiron helmet is a low- to mid-tier helmet with 6 defense. It may be worn by a player for a good portion of the early game, because obtaining a horned helmet is not a priority in the early game, and is typically not done until after obtaining the Magic Skill. Some players prefer the Hat of Healing over the iron helmet, though the Glove of Healing, which may take much longer to obtain, has a far lower defense/regeneration tradeoff.
The horns on the sides of the helmet appear differently depending on gender. As a male, the horns are quite short and are slightly curved inwards. On a female, however, they will turn more upwards and appear much more curved.
This means the armor cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions to fortify Smithing.
you dont need to repeat yourself, ive read your comment. Your arguments still dont change the fact that sunken warrior has both less supply and more demand than sunken iron for the reasons ive already stated on top of the advantages you mentioned.
i doubt that tbh. Why? because wom had loads of players fishing (macroing or in a normal way) when sunkens were added, and people had more than 2 years (nearly even 3) to get sunkens in wom so the number of sunkens caught in wom is prolly still a very high amount. Then you also have to consider how ao, on release, had 100k players and has had at least 1k concurrent players at nearly all times before sunken warrior even released. Furthermore your point literally also proves why sunken iron demand is so low: the already decent supply of sunken iron became overabundant
there is. Sunken iron has been out since wom, sunken warrior has not. That already justifies saying that theres WAY more sunken iron than sunken warrior in the game. Wom had like 10k players when sunkens were released and ao upon release had like 100k. Not to mention that both games had very stable player counts of above 1k players for most of their lifetimes. On top of all that, sunken iron and sunken warrior have the same rates so although its not correct to assume that equally as many sunken iron pieces as sunken warrior pieces were caught, you can still roughly accept said premise.
the main reasons I think that more sunkens have been caught in the last 4 months than all of pre-AO is simply because of the dark sea update making them so much more common alongside the much larger playercount.
Although it is very much possible that youre correct since 3 months of infinite bait, better fishing enchants and luck potions definitely generated a lot of sunkens i still do doubt it. But my reasons for doubting that are still the same so i wont be repeating myself. Your argument is definitely a fair argument but it still doesnt change the outcome of this discussion.
Once you have placed your iron helmet and lapis lazuli in the two boxes, you will see the enchantment slots display up to 3 enchantment options. Each enchantment will display a number on the right which is the number of experience levels that you must have to unlock and view the enchantment (this is not the cost of applying the enchantment).
In this example, the first enchantment is unlocked if you have 7 experience levels, the second one is unlocked if you have 10 experience levels, and for the third enchantment you need 30 experience levels to unlock it.
The higher the experience points required to unlock the enchantment, the better the enchantment. If you don't have enough levels, you can always earn more experience points by killing mobs or using the /xp command.
When you hover over the third enchantment, it says Projectile Protection IV and the cost of the enchantment is 3 lapis lazuli and 3 enchantment levels (ie: levels on your experience bar). Projectile Protection IV is one of the 3 enchantments that you can select from the enchanting table.
Durability represents how long the item will last. For tools, weapons and transportation, durability is the number of useful actions before the item is destroyed. For armor items, durability is the number of hits (that can be blocked by armor) before the item is destroyed. So the higher the durability number, the longer the item will last.
The iron helmet's design is virtually identical to the item of the same name from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, another Bethesda Softworks title. It provides a bonus of +1 to Strength and Endurance.
Anyone ever had iron horned helmed visible during characted creation? It has happened for the 2nd time to me, and I just can't figure out what could be the cause. It's definitely not caused by Racemenu, disabling it makes no difference.
I have encountered the same issue, my character has a complete iron armor set on start. The "problem" being I can't rid myself of the iron helmet during character creation (tried console commands but the helmet is still visible in Race Menu / Character Creation despite being "removed").
