New Releases for March


This month’s release to The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection features talks on renal function, immunity to fungi, foot anatomy, genomic instability, renal failure and much more.

In the series Periodic Reports: Advances in Clinical Interventions and Research Platforms we are pleased to include the talk ‘Cellular therapies for neurological injuries: bioreactors, potency, and coagulation’ by Prof. Charles S. Cox, Jr., George & Cynthia Mitchell Distinguished Chair in Neurosciences, McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. In this talk, Prof. Cox discusses how cell therapeutics function as immunomodulatory agents targeting neuroinflammatory responses post-injury. He also highlights how potency can be measured and linked with microglial activation, and how cellular therapeutics’ pro-coagulant effects can be managed.
