Dear Carol and Executives, I am sorry that I am not attending this workshop, I have been last week from Kampala attending another CUUL workshop. It is important that I also do my office duties in order to be given permission in future to attend similar CUUL activities. The planners of the two workshops didn't factor in the idea that some of the participants who attended last week's would also be participating in E-Resources workshop especially the upcountry one.  Arua is not near place for some people who have been here (Arua), travelling to Kampala every other day is not a simple thing.

I am also sorry that I didn't get communication that we are going to be involved in negotiating for E-resources that would have guided me in deciding which workshop to attend. I hope to make my contribution in negotiation next time.

Most of the e-resources institutional coordinators have indicated that they will attend the training apart from Bosco and Paul who have stressed that due to unavoidable circumstances they will not be able to attend. Lets continue with the preparations with the hope that we shall realize the main objective of this training.
