News From EIFL - Cambridge University Press APC waivers extended.

Dear Members,

You will be aware, through the EIFL Agreement with Cambridge University Press (CUP), corresponding authors from Uganda were eligible for APC waivers when publishing in Gold Open Access journals.

EIFL is pleased to tell you that CUP launched the Cambridge Open Equity Initiative and from 1st July 2023, till 31st December 2024, corresponding authors from your country are also eligible for full APC waivers in CUP’s hybrid journals.

We have updated the list of all the journals that EIFL has negotiated open-access publishing terms. The list now includes CUP’s open-access journals and hybrid journals. You can download the list of journals here https://www.eifl.net/uganda_apcs.

We hope that you can raise awareness of this new opportunity for fully waived APCs in CUP’s Gold open-access journals and hybrid journals and share the list with your members.
