ICN recognizes CUTS Contribution in Competition Advocacy
International Competition Network generated a document titled 'Explaining the Benefits of Competition to the General Public' as part of the Benefits Project. The Benefits Project seeks to provide ICN members with knowledge, strategies, and arguments for explaining the benefits of competition to support their competition advocacy efforts with government and non-government stakeholders.
We are pleased to share that CUTS International - 7UP Model (http://www.cuts-ccier.org/7Up-model.htm) aimed to advocate, build capacities and strengthen constituencies vis-à-vis Competition Policy and Law in select African and Asian countries has been documented as one of the best practices for advocating about benefits of competition to the public.
CUTS is the only Non-Governmental Agency (NGA) which has been covered among relevant competition agencies.
