A little about the school: I first learned of DSST through the DSST/CU Teach partnership and have loved working here. I was an apprentice teacher last fall, then joined the team as a teacher-of-record in the spring. The coach for the math team here is incredible and I've developed immensely as a teacher in the short time I've been here. Southwest Denver is a wonderfully diverse part of town, with about 30% MLLs and a large population of students who are underrepresented in STEM. The school has a strong focus on STEM and college acceptance, boasting 100% college acceptance since the beginning of its existence. College View High School in particular is also known in the DSST network for having the strongest teacher-student relationships.
