Story of Veer Shivaji serial revolves around the life and the achievements of the great Maratha warrior - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
It is a historical series of his fight for freedom. It is the tale of
his glorious rise as a leader- from Shivaji Raje to Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj.
It narrates the three-hundred year-old story of
the legendary warrior king – Shivaji.
Veer Shivaji tries to touch uncharted incidents
from the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The biopic of Veer Shivaji
presents an important aspect of the story - his mother Jijabai. She became the
driving force for him.
Besides narrating incidents from his life, the show highlights the relationship between mother-son Jijabai and Shivaji that became an integral part of Shivaji's fight for swarajya.
The show also takes audience through Shivaji Bhonsle's life right from adolescence to his glorious rise as a leader which led him to being rechristened as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
