Hello All

I have been a regular user of Custom Maps for a long time and I was happy to see the version 1.6. I have been running the software on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S  SM-T705 (dated ) with Android 6.0.1. On updating the software, I now don't see the own location icon. On pressing the My Position option, the map centres but the own position is still not shown. The GPS position on the location details are correct and the system GPS works fine on other apps. To confirm, I downloaded the app on my other phone Samsung S8 running Android 9 and the GPS location indicates correctly.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app on my tablet, but the GPS own location is still not showing. Kindly confirm if there is a conflict with Android 6.0.1 and your new version 1.6. If so, is there any way to revert to the earlier version of Custom Maps.

Appreciate any advice or solution in this regard. Thanks
Rajendranath

As mentioned in the other thread, the currently released beta version (1.6.2 beta 2) fixes this unfortunate error.

Anyone who sees this same issue can get a working version by joining the Beta testers group through a link on Custom Maps app page in Play Store. You can use the same link to leave the Beta tester program whenever you want.
