Possible Scale Bug

I love the app. Exactly what I needed. Thank you.

After loading a custom map, I see the map scale in km in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Knowing that I scaled and rotated my map perfectly onto the satellite imagery, I am sure that the scale indicated is consistently too large by a factor of 10. 

e.g. it says 0.82km when it should say 0.08km. 

This occurs for both horizontal and vertical scales, as well as for all units.

The scale shows the total distance visible in the map area, not the length of the small arrow inside the box. The surrounding box represents the whole map area.

In my opinion it is much easier to estimate that some points are about half of the screen width (or height) apart than figuring out how many times are short line in the corner of the map fits between two points in random locations on the map.

So that is not a bug. It is very intentional and IMHO quite a big improvement over the regular scale bars.
