Hi,
I’ve found your app very handy recently for creating walking maps from some national park signboards. Unfortunately these places often don’t have mobile reception and so I can’t always see the details in Google Maps to create the tiepoints.
I use an offline mapping app for bushwalking etc which can often give me coordinates for tiepoints though. If you are open to feature requests, an option to manually add tiepoint coordinates would be great.
I assume I may be able to create the tiepoints in your app with an extremely rough Google Maps location, export the map, extract the kml file, put the coordinates in directly and then reverse the process. It would be very fiddly and hard to get things like rotation right though. Pre-caching areas in Google Maps might work but as it’s not my main offline map I’m not likely to do beforehand that in most cases.
Thanks
Andrew M
