About two years ago I started deep refactoring of Cusp. I called new
project lispdev. You can see screenshot teaser here: http://lispdev.org/screen.png

What a coincidence.  I started getting back into CL a little while ago and decided to bite the bullet and learn Emacs and Slime.

But I just happened to checkout github and see when the last commit was for Cusp (late December) and pretty much concluded it was dead.

I still consider Cusp a great CL IDE.  I think it's just that given the size of the CL community and the mindshare that Emacs/Slime has, it's hard for Cusp to gain a big community.

But I'm definitely looking forward to lispdev.

I think that a good Lisp IDE in Eclipse will greatly promote the use of the language.

Success!

It looks really cool. I'm glad to see you working on the project,
which has sadly suffered neglect since I've had to move on to non-Lisp
work.
