Good morning!
I'm a volunteer with the Denver Municipal Band. We are the oldest continuously playing band in the United States, established in 1861. We play free concerts all summer long in Denver-area parks. Some of our most successful concerts come from a collaboration
with the neighborhood association where we partner with them to provide music for their event.
We have several different ensembles - from our 40-piece concert band, to our 20-piece jazz band, jazz trios, brass quintets, and more - so we have a lot of flexibility to provide what is perfect for the event.
Because Mestizo Curtis Park is Denver's oldest park, also established in the 1860's, we feel playing a free concert in this park would be a natural fit.
We're currently putting together our 2026 schedule and would appreciate a call from a representative so we can explore a potential partnership.
Also - our Jazz Band is playing a free concert at The Savoy Denver this Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 7:00pm. We'll play two sets that evening. Please come hear us!
Thank you for your time! Looking forward to talking with you.
