Below is a snapshot of what’s in store for the program this summer: 

Sidewalk Stamp Contest 

DOTI is inviting residents to leave their mark on the city through a new Sidewalk Stamp Contest, an opportunity to design a stamp that will be embedded in sidewalks across Denver for years to come. The winning design will become a lasting feature of the city’s public spaces and receive a $1,000 prize. Community members can apply by July 31 at bit.ly/stamp_contest or bit.ly/concurso_de_estampados. Phase 2 Outreach Launch: Report, Survey and Zoom Webinar 

Based on input received earlier this year on priorities for where sidewalk improvements are needed most and ongoing technical analysis, DOTI is now evaluating different approaches for phasing sidewalk improvements across the city. 

 

Learn more about how DOTI is exploring priorities, risks, and different ways to improve and expand Denver’s sidewalk network by reviewing the Charting the Path Forward report at bit.ly/ChartingThePathForward. 

 

Denverites can get involved by:  

• Survey: Taking our survey at bit.ly/SIPphase2survey. 

• Public webinar: Joining us Wednesday, July 8, 6 to 7 p.m. to ask questions directly to the project team. Register at bit.ly/SIPpublicwebinar. 
• In-person events: Visiting our webpage to find an in-person event near you to talk with the project team in June or July. 

 

We appreciate your help spreading the word about the stamp contest and opportunities for public input on scenarios for the Sidewalk Implementation Plan. Please distribute the toolkit materials on your own channels or share posts directly from DOTI feeds.
