PAVING UPDATE FROM DENVER PUBLIC WORKS

 

DENVER - Denver Public Works crews are continuing their paving operations. Below is our anticipated paving schedule for the week June 27, weather permitting. Should we experience bad weather – heavy rain, snow, wind, or freezing temperatures, the schedules below will change based on those conditions.

 

WEEK OF JUNE 27

 

Streets

  • A Street Maintenance crew will continue paving in the Country Club neighborhood from E. 1st to E. 6th Avenues between Downing Street and University Boulevard.

 

  • Another Street Maintenance crew will continue milling and paving in the Hutchison Hills neighborhood from Mansfield to Hampden Avenues and Tamarac Drive to Yosemite Street. Crews will also begin paving in the Hampden South neighborhood between Mansfield and Quincy Avenues and from Tamarac Drive to Willow Way.

 

  • Crack seal and clean-up from chip seal operations will occur at various locations in Stapleton, Gateway, and Green Valley Ranch.

 

  • Hot-In-Place paving operations will continue in Harvey Park from W. Evans to W. Yale Avenues and Federal to S. Lowell Boulevards. Crews will also begin milling Lowell Boulevard from Evans to Hampden Avenues.

 

 

Curbs and Pedestrian Ramps

Contracted crews are doing curb and pedestrian ramp repairs/installation in:

 

·         Montbello/Green Valley Ranch: 56th Avenue to I-70 between Potomac St. and Chambers Rd.

·         Goldsmith Gulch: Florida to Jewell Avenues between Colorado Boulevard and Holly Street

·         Marston/Grant Ranch: Kipling Avenue to Wadsworth Boulevard between Quincy and Belleview Avenues

·         South Park Hill: Monaco Street to Colorado Boulevard between Montview Boulevard and Colfax Avenue

·         Montview Boulevard, south side: Albion to Forest Streets

PLEASE REMEMBER:

“No Parking” signs are placed on affected blocks in advance of work, asking drivers to not park on the street on weekdays from 7:00am to 5:00pm. We ask residents to move their cars so crews can provide the best service possible; unmoved vehicles may be towed to allow paving work to proceed.

Should we experience bad weather – heavy rain, snow, wind, or freezing temperatures, the schedules below will change based on those conditions.

 

WEEK OF JULY 5

 

Streets

  • A Street Maintenance crew will continue paving in the Country Club neighborhood from E. 1st to E. 6th Avenues between Downing Street and University Boulevard. They will then begin milling in Cherry Creek north from 3rd to 6th Avenues and Josephine to Steele Streets.

 

  • Another Street Maintenance crew will continue milling and paving in the Hutchison Hills neighborhood from Quincy to Hampden Avenues and Tamarac Drive to Yosemite Street.

 

  • A contracted crew will begin milling E. 1st Avenue from Fillmore to Steele Streets and Steele Street from E. 1st to E. Ellsworth Avenues.

 

  • Hot-In-Place paving operations will be milling and paving Lowell Boulevard from Evans to Hampden Avenues.
