Job Description:
LAN Network Access Control (NAC) implementation and operations supporting Client, global deployment of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)in office and manufacturing facilities.
Successful candidate will work closely with the regional and global team and take direction from the ISE Technical Designer to deliver high quality Cisco ISE deployment and support services.
Responsibilities:
ISE WLAN Enforcement ISE Shop enforcement (2022) Sitedb port designs & grief reviewing & documenting grief (exceptions) addressing grief (removing unnecessary exceptions) improve compliance reporting Level 1 & 2 ISE Operations basic ISE footprint maint. ISE certificate maintenance SNOW ISE ticket management investigate and resolve device authentication failures for sites in partial or full ISE enforcement mode. develop and implement new ISE device profiles as new devices are introduced to the Client enterprise. modify existing ISE device profiles as new device firmware and/or IOS levels may require. Support security projects for secure the factory devices that require ISE enforcement Reconfigure guest ion ports to dot1x
Education Requirements:
Computer-related or Engineering-related four-year College or University Degree OR three to six years of progressively responsible IT job-related experiences; Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
Technical Skills:
· Cisco ISE operations management, implementation and support in a medium to large business, with working knowledge of segmentation, TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration.
· Applied experience with Cisco ISE in a medium to large business including LAN and wireless communications technologies utilizing Cisco switches (Catalyst 3750, 3850, 4500x, 6880, 9300 and 9500), WLAN controllers, access points and bridges including hardware, software and upgrade support.
· Experience with Service Center tools (ServiceNow).
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) recommended.
· Experience with automation technologies and scripting (PERL, Cisco DNA, Prime).
